What would you like to know? I've been a shaft/club fitter for 25+ years and I don't work for aerotech but I do know a fair amount about them...

I would like to know if they actually add yardage... I like steel shafts for the consistency and the feel/weight but would love a few extra yards. Are they as consistent as steel and do they also add yards?

in a nut shell...the e.i. curve combined with the 'hoop' factor produce a very responsive shaft...the nature of the manufacturing process produces a very consistent product, many of the pga and senior pga tour players are gaming the i95(hand picked) as well...Adding yardage, well that's up to physics and your personal specs. I feel I get the responsiveness,  sturdiness and consistency of steel without the harsh feel on slightly miss hit shots. I use the aerotech players specs because weight works better in standard(old standards) length clubs, if your fitted to over length then the i95 would probably work out better(Kuch, Sneds and Couples) to get your swing weights right(unless your counter weighting)...I'm never going to knock most steel shafts but if your ready to try something different you can't go wrong with steel fiber(it has copper threading in it as well, just sounds cool,lol).

      I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.

      Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
