I've heard from a ton of people that the head has flown off of their driver. Way too many for me to feel comfortable having her use those. Even after replacement sets, and some after only a few hits.

Really? I’ll check this week with the three girls who bought that RAM set to see if they held up since the second semester of golf classes start this weekend. If they come back for this semester I’ll confirm if the clubs have held up since they bought them.

In my Viper by Hippo Golf stand bag:
Driver: Cleveland HiBore 10.5° Fujikara reg. flex
Woods: 3- MacGregor NVG2 Fujikara reg. flex
Hybrids: 3 & 4-Taylor Made Rescue Mid
Irons: Titleist 775.cb w/Graphite Shafts (5-GW)Wedges: Cleveland 588 Tour Action SW & 60° lob Putter: Taylor Made Monza...

My wife played a couple of years with Callaways womens GES set. While they do look a little different, these six clubs made it very easy for her to get the ball up in the air and forward which was something she could not do at the time with a regular set of irons.
Callaway pre-owned offer these at a very low price. Very good for the beginner.

After being asked for quite a few years by my wife I relented and got her a set of Wilson Firestick Hybrid set. She loves them and even has begun to play with friends more and more. Great set at a great price for a beginner. That way if the desire fades you are not in for a ton of $$.

I figured since they were so cheap, and hearing those horror stories I stayed away. I figured you get what you pay for.

    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
    • Day 40 (20 Dec 25) - got in a few reps with the 55° wedge - focused on low flighted spinners from about 10 yds in, then wrapped up the session with a few bump and runs chips with the 5i using a putting type stroke.
