Old Newbie in Denver

Hello all. It's been a while since I visited. You see I was playing frequently and enjoying golf in Austin. But about this time last year I relocated to Denver, and my golf playing habit kind of died. I haven't played much at all in the mile high city. Now that winter has mostly gone, I thought I would pick it back up. Are there some others nearby who want to give some suggestions where I ought to play? I frequent public courses a lot and I'm a little more beginner/intermediate. I don't mind a challenging course though. I also wouldn't mind joining a local association.
