Dream Bag/Equipment Setup

Dream bag is my bag just as it is... if any changes were made, they would be to a 7.5 driver and a 14 degree 3 wood. And I would replace the same wedges every 6 months just for optimal grooves.

I switch back and forth between a 907 D2 8.5 degree with a very high kick point X shaft and an 8.5 degree 909 D3 with a mid kick point stiff shaft. If the temperature is above 60 degrees I like the X shafted club, if it is below, I play the stiff shaft.

I would like equipment with modern technology and materials built to 1960 mechanical specifications.

Modern irons are at least a full club too strong lofted.

Modern drivers are too upright (overcompensation for shaft droop) and have closed face angles in the higher lofts.

Modern fairway woods are too strong lofted and sometimes too upright as well.

Any of the top brand names could make for me, from their current models, a dream set if the specs were right--right from initial forging and grinding, not from bending that affects sole playability.

Whether it makes sense or not, I care what number is stamped on the bottom of the club. I want it to match what it was before.

Driver: 14°, 1° open, 44", 55° lie
4-wood: 19°, 1° open, 42½", 56°lie
5-wood: 22°, 1° open, 42", 56.5° lie
Driving iron: 19°, 39¼", 59º lie
4-iron: 26°, 38⅝", 60° lie

Putter- Scotty Cameron TeI3 Long Kneck. Orrrr since its a dream set, the Crica #1 head shape mixed with the studio desighn head shape, plus the Button Back insert, plus the long kneck of my Newport TeI3, but with the Flamed finish, and green paint. THAT, would be nice. Would have a lamkin torsion control grip. 3 wraps of tape.
Grip wise, wedges have Yellow NDMC with 3 wraps, All others have NDMC Midsize with 2 wraps.

Wedges: Dunno, maybe a Japanese Spin-Milled wedge of some sort or Scratch

That's a very interesting putter. Hard to imagine what it looks like though.

It would be nice, a blade like head, with the feel of a long kneck, but the wonderful feel of a Buttonback. with a flame finish, and maybe just black paint fill :) if it were a black oxide finish, it would be lime green :)
