What is going to happen when FEDEX decides to pull out its' sponsorship of the fedex cup? Another company will replace it, and will want to name the trophy cup.

Surely, we imagine some funny if not risque names:

#10: THE DIXIE CUP (Dixie Cup Tableware company).
# 9: THE JOCKEY CUP (Jockey Sportswear).
# 8: THE BRA CUP (The Bra Company.com).
# 7: THE BIG GULP CUP (7-11 stores).
# 6: THE D**KS CUP (Dicks sporting goods).
# 5: THE TIDY BOWL CUP (Toilet Cleaner).
# 4: THE BALL CUP (metal company).
# 3: THE Sun Shun Fuk CUP (Big Asian noodle exporter).
# 2: THE IP CUP (IP company, a telephony over the internet company).

and the number one funny if not risque name:

# 1: DE BEER CUP (The De Beers diamond company).

Yeah, a lot of pressure. Rise above it. Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness energy, block bad.
Feel the flow, Happy. It's circular. It's Like a carousel. You get on the horse. It goes up, down and around. Circular. Circle. With the music, the flow. All good things.I...

I go for this one:

THE Sun Shun Fuk CUP :)

I also thought about that already, since they mention Fedex in like every second sentence they talk on TV here, but i guess Fedex will have some kind of long term contract for this thing so we probably be blessed with a lot more Fedex mentioning...

P.S. Checked last time how much it would cost to Fedex my golfclubs to planned holidays destinations - for that pricing i could get them an extra seat on the plane right next to me...

Aren't you allowed to carry them as an extra package or w/e? Like they sell those travel bags.

In my Essex Stand Bag:

Sure you are allowed to - but sometimes i´m packed a bit heavy (esp. when staying longer abroad) and then a additional golf travel bag is not the handiest thing to have with you...

Oh and i have a hard case travel bag from Bag Boy (and how this thing already looks like after one year i really wouldnt like to put my clubs into "softcover" travel bags) and the problem with that thing is, that you have no chance of fitting it into a normal cab if no big cabs are around so i always have to start unpacking at the airport....

The FedEx Cup is a daring concept but needs some serious work. I like the fact that it brings a stronger field to the later events, but they are going to have trouble getting top players to play so many events in a row. Several of the leaders have declined to play some of the "playoff " events, so what does that tell you?

FedEx is getting so much exposure from this that it more than justifies the expense.
