Recently bought my wife a new Ping Serene Hybrid. She used it once at the range and when she took the headcover off two weeks later she found rust spots on the face and sole. Has anyone had similar problems? I have two G20 Hybrids and they are both spotless.

Welcome to the site @andyr .  Can you post a picture?  Hybrid heads are usually stainless steel or titanium and should not rust.  The Ping site states the Serene is stainless steel.  It could be mold or something else that is easily cleaned.  Some stainless steels can spot, but not usually the grade used in golf clubs.
