I've been Playing Golf for: 1 year

My current handicap index or average score is: 18

My typical ball flight is: mid flight

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Starting on target line, fading off to the right!

Videos:

Any pointers would be fantastic, i understand when i come into impact with the ball, i have a tendency to hunch, which is really annoying and a sod of a habit to break!!!

Welcome to the forum, hope you stick around. You've come to the right place to get help on your golf swing. A TON of good information on this sight.

First,  check out this thread on golf posture. A little lest arch in the lower back. Thing flat lower back, a little more hunched over upper back. Also, if you don't already, flare your feet out a bit at address. So toes pointing outward about 30 degrees. This helps with proper hip turn.

Second, you need a bit more hip rotation. I think your posture hurts you on this. When you arch your back you lock in your hips and make it very hard to turn them.

Check out this thread, and the video bellow,

Third, you are too square at impact. Hips and shoulders need to be more open. Looks like you don't have enough weight forward at impact. Hard to tell, but I would guess you flip at the ball. The finish, image on the right, look how your hips are pointing straight ahead. They need to more angled and your belt buckle should be pointing towards the sky more. Check out the video bellow on that.

Overall you look good, just need to clean a few things up.

Wow, I didn't expect to get that much of a response, thanks a lot!! I'll try and look up some drills and also take into account the tips you've given me over the next week or so then post up a 'progress' video to see how I'm getting on. Thanks again!!!

I would try to get a video of your swing "Face On" next time, basically the camera would be facing the center of your stance. Might get a bit more information on your swing from that view.
