What are your "indisputable truths" about golf?

When my swing goes bad I always go back to these basics to get back on track and it always works.

1) Stay balanced and centered over ball
2) Loose wrists
3) Inside-out swing
4) Full Shoulder turn
5) Right thumb in right ear

I think the simple term "Game of Opposites" is powerful in its simplicity, and it's truthfulness. I believe that is at the heart of the mental challenge of the game, and pervades nearly every aspect. Some examples not yet stated:

* Pressure gets your adrenaline going, but that hurts your game (unlike other sports)

* The longest, consistent hitters usually have the slowest/easiest swings (Els, Couples come to mind; most big/fast swingers struggle with consistency, IMO)
