Well ,  buckeyenut, IMO you are an a** for expressing such a thing.  When GBush went to a foreign country the entire hotel was emptied out for one supercilious idiot, namely GWBush. When W came to my    town, the entire interstate system for 20 miles was closed so he could drive into town unencumbered.

Whatever the name on the door, the PREZ gets special treatment.

Incompetence is relative ... Prez has control over foreign policy to a large extent and the Executive, he appoints regulators and administrators to run the bureaucracy.  I look at what occurred and the relative seriousness of the incompetence and its effect on people. Compare.

And it's been a loooong time since PoliSci, but Congress still introduces and passes laws; they are supposed to work with the Prez so he signs or objects to them, and they can override a veto.

Somehow, we created this Imperial Presidency, or Congress let it grow. Congress can still pass laws and show muscle, improve conditions for the domestic economy. But it has not done so since 2010. Ask yourself why, and who would obtain the benefit of an improved economy -- besides the American People. And then you needn't wonder why this Congress has done nothing since 2010 ... it's all about power.

But back to golf, I don't know about you, but in quiet time covered by the shade of a chipping green, I get in some excellent thinking time between shots, and shots of water. On the range, I can get away from everything, even all of the electronics -- good focus time on the swing and life.
