How do i find my handicap if I only play local 9 hole courses and stuff? Is there some sort of thing I can use to rack my rounds? What if the courses I play don't have a slope or a rating? I don't know what to do, or really much at all about it....

Well, if you and a buddy are playing the same 9-hole course regularly, and want handicaps to determine how many strokes to give when playing against one another, try this: * Keep track of the past X many rounds. * Take your Y best of those X rounds. * Take the average of those Y rounds' result, relative to par. * Use the difference in the values you and your buddy get to determine strokes. Of course, this only works for that one course. Are you burdened with little playing time and are just playing a par-3 course? Also, what is your reason for wanting a handicap? Are you trying to track improvement, or strokes for games vs. friends, or just trying to estimate how you'd do on a par-72 course?

First of all, the nine hole courses I play have par 3's, 4's and 5's. And yes, it's to play against eachother, and also I just want to track my progress.....Is there a worksheet or a handicap scoring card or something I can download for free?
