Hey all Ya'll down south!

I am working in the Big Easy for a couple of weeks in October. First time, baby!

I just finished my first round of lessons, I need to continue grooving my new backswing!

Where do you practice in NEW ORLEANS? I am staying at Plaza Suites of Metairie--It’s located on the southwest corner of the I-10 / Causeway intersection.

I just started playing again after a couple year hiatus and moving here, so I am looking for places to play/practice too.
There is a range in city park (corner of Filmore and Wisner). They have mats and grass but the grass is pretty beat up.
Brechtel Memorial, on the West Bank, is a cheap municipal course with a range and putting green.
I just played Bayou Barriere for the first time last Friday. It pretty well maintained for the price and has 27 holes, a couple putting greens and a chipping green.
Also, Audubon is good if you're pressed for time. We can usually play a foursome in about three hours as long as the course isn't backed up (weekend).
Good luck and post any good places you find.
