Driver Alteration

I was thinking of putting two lines down my driver at either side of the top of the head, creating a square look. I like the idea of squaring the driver without buying a new one, and reckong this would be easy to line up.

Is this allowed?

I would be careful of putting lines on the driver, most driver faces are not square to shaft line. What you see as square on the driver's top might cause you to alter your body at address.

It's legal, but the point about it being hard to do and get it just right is a good one. I would do it with a marker you can erase and try it out first.
