im 16 right now, i play ive played off a 5 handicap, but recently ive had some problems, so ive lost touch with my game and now play off a 7 or 8 handicap. Im a true tournament player, and have hopes on becoming apart of the pga. How do i do it though? Im applying for a golf scholarship in the UK. Any suggestions on which university is best?

Here's the application from the 2007 PGA Tour Q School. 2007's just started last month.

All you really need is a bunch of confidence in your game. And of course, a bunch of money for the sections. $14,500 for all four setions... sheesh.

Try some mini tour play. I've found this place, UK mini tour: http://www.tamsel.com/ from this site: http://www.dmoz.org/Sports/Golf/Orga...ns/Mini-Tours/ As far as I know there is no age restriction on mini tours. You'll just have to play as an amateur if you are thinking of playing in college.

Try coming over and play college in the US. Im from Canada and have done that. So far its not too bad, and in the spring im going to watch two PGA events as im more exposed to them here, instead of being farther away.

By the end of college im thinking youve got to be at least +2 to +4 to really take a good run at it. A good friend of mine is playing on the Canadian Tour and is a +3.2 without too much success. You've got to be a great player, and have an absolute abundance of confidence to even play mini tours, let alone make it to the PGA.

I'll see ya there though;). That's the ultimate goal.
