Staying Connected in the Winter Months

I am lamenting about the inevitable and close end of the golf season here in North Dakota. I renewed my connection to the game this summer and have again become a golf fanatic. What is the best way to keep that connection during the winter? A subscription to Golf Digest or Golf Magazine seems one route to go, but do those provide anything more than what is available on line? We have a golf dome and that is another alternative. Best of all there is Sandtrap. Please share your thoughts how to get through the winter months withing being able to step onto a course.

spend the time you normally spend playing golf working out. Especially the core golf muscles. you will be shocked at the results.

I'm in Central IL, so we don't get near as cold as you do, but I'm planing on lessons this off-season and at least 5 range sessions a week. There is a place in town in-doors I can use when it's too cold to go to the out-door range. The plan for me to to really groove the swing in hopes of acheiving single digit in 2008.
