Is there a way to change the number of posts visible per page? I didn't see anything and it seems to be set pretty low here by default.

It's set to nine (I use multiples of nine on the site frequently because, hey, it's a golf site after all).

The trade off with more posts per page would be slower loading times. I think nine is pretty optimal.

yea i would prefer a higher amount too. Think with 'most' people having access to higher speed internet it is becoming more suitable.

Okay. Are y'all willing to pay for the lost advertising revenue, too?

We don't make money from the site, really, so we'd have to make sure our bills were paid somehow... I think it's gonna stay at nine for awhile, but thanks to all for sharing their thoughts. I visit the site more frequently than most people so my perspective is different. I rarely have four pages of new posts to go through. Heck, I rarely have to flip a page. So, your opinions matter to me because they're from a fresh perspective. But in the end, I like that the pages and threads load pretty quickly and I like the current balance we have between our minimal advertising and the revenue it provides to let you use the forum free.

totally forgot about the advertising, keep it like this. I would rather have to load an extra page than stare at even more ads.
