I'm 31 years old, and 'm curious about a bruise that popped on Friday after an irregular amount of golf for me. I just started getting back into golf after a couple busy years and back issues. Long story short, I've been making it a point to hit a lot of balls at the range, and get out for full rounds whenever I have a chance. This week, I played a full round on Wednesday, drove 4 hours to Cleveland area Thursday, then I played 18 with a customer in the morning, and shot better than I have in my life. Went to customer meetings immediately after, and on my way home, I wanted to see if I could keep the great ball striking going. Stopped at a fun, wide open course, and shot even better (78). Hopped in the car and drove another 4 hours home. My question is, has anybody ever had a bruise from straining their hamstring. It's my left leg, and I'm a RH player, so there's definitely more twisting and strain on my lead leg. But I'm positive it's not an impact bruise. My wife's a nurse and she started checking my body for other bruises or signs to rule out the worst-case that I was in fear of (leukemia). I just have always been active my entire life, and never have I bruised from something that wasn't an acute injury, like sprained ankles.

You would know if you pulled a hamstring. It's just a bruise
