I forgot how much I enjoyed SWWOG...I hadn't seen them for a number of years...those matches are some of the best on TV...

Were you watching today's replay of Arnie vs Jack @jcjim ? I was doing some work on the house today and was watching it in between.

I wasn't into golf back in the day so I never watched it. I enjoy some of those recordings now, however. Being a Hogan fan, there's a SWWOG YouTube video of him (competing against Snead I think) that I'll watch now and then. The video quality is surprisingly good.

I sure was watching Arnold and Jack... Arnold was having a tough time with the putter...Then Seve Boisterous and Paul Anzinger played St Andrews in Scotland....Now Jack is playing Tom Watson at Pebble Beach it.s a good match...I just love these matches one against one on the best courses in the world

Now Jack is playing Tom Watson at Pebble Beach it.s a good match.

Do you know when this was filmed?  I remember going to the AT&T; in 1995 (I think it was '95, Peter Jacobsen won it) and there being buzz around the course on Sunday that Jack and Tom were going to be playing a match the following day.  Nobody said anything about it being for the Shell TV show, but I am now wondering.

EDIT:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell%27s_Wonderful_World_of_Golf

Well, waddya know, it was 1995!  Damn, if I'd only known (and cared - I was 21) back then. ;)

DOUBLE EDIT:  Also just realized that the pattern tells me we have to wait a few years until the show comes back on.  They filmed for 10 years, then took 23 years off, then filmed for 10 more years.  And we're only coming up on the end of year 12 of the hiatus.  Can't wait for 2027!!!!!!!!!!!!
