I am once again reading The Haig's autobiography, "The Walter Hagen Story" by The Haig, Himself.  It was written in 1956, and has many interesting tidbits of information.  For example, on page 39, he writes, "I decided then that mental and physical relaxation during competition was the valuable asset any golfer could possess. Concentrate on playing the best you can on each shot...if it's a good one, that's fine. If it's bad, forget it."  Apparently, The Haig took his own advice since Tommy Armoujr, in "The American Golfer" wrote "Making a million---or having the return of his laundry delayed by fiscal factors---nothing bothers Hagen....He could relax setting on a hot stove."
