I know I'm not the only putter nerd on this board. But recently I bought a Scotty Cameron Newport Classic. It was in decent shape metal wise but was in dire need of a fresh coat of gun blue. So I searched for a putter artist and found some pretty expensive ones. Tom Slighter, Putter Plating, and Scotty Cameron were at the top of my list. But though asking questions on other forums I discovered David and GA Golf Refinishing. He is fantastic! I sent him emails about working on my baby and how much it would cost. $26 and shipping!! My quote from Slighter was around $160. So after many many exchanges I ponied up the hard earned cash and sent him my first real Scotty Cameron. He was very prompt about getting me updates and such. Needless to say he is a professional metal worker. And well the pictures speak for themselves... I have more pictures but these two really show a good before and after shot.       Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…

      Only ever used ShipSticks and never had a problem. It's really nice because you can ship to anywhere not just courses.  No matter what you use, I take the extra care of the clubs and wrap them in something before putting them in your bag and into the shipping box.

      Practicing my putting after work. I put five balls on the carpet and a mug on the other side. Once I make 3 out of 5 I can stop. If I leave any short or they go to far and fall off the rug, I restart.  Focusing on speed and hitting my mark 3 inches in front of me. Trying to gain consistency and discipline in all aspects of my putting game.
