Another difference to note is that KBS shafts are sorted based upon the frequency (stiffness) of the shaft, versus the weight of the shaft like a Dynamic Gold shaft. This means that KBS shafts will vary from shaft to shaft in their exact weight, while Dynamic Gold shafts will vary slightly from shaft to shaft in their stiffness.

The AP1's are great clubs, if I had a spare thousand lying around I'd pick up a properly fitted set. As of now my nikes are starting to feel weird, so I may go back to my old pings, but that's off topic.

Good thing is... I'm able to get a discount through my cousin.  I'm a teacher, so the extra grand isn't there either.  I have 2 cousins who are head pros in South Florida and I go through them to get my apparel and equipment.  I also work at a golf course in the summers, but my discount there isn't as good as the discount through my cousin.
