I was thinking others may have a running email account with GolfEtail like I do and was trying to make them aware of this

That doesn't matter - that link is only going to work for people logged in to YOUR Gmail account.

The regular listing appears to be here: http://www.golfetail.com/tour-edge-tgs-chrome-3-piece-wedge-set/ . Is there a coupon code or something?

I just checked out the price of this wedge set on ebay. It just so happens that you can buy this wedge set on ebay for $64.99 and that includes shipping. Basically this is probably the way to go if anyone wants to get this 3 piece wedge set. The link is below, it says there are more than 10 of these sets available currently. And the ad says if you buy a second set you get 10% off the second set.

An OK buy if you want a "standard" set of wedges but you should look at wedges with different grinds. A fitter can probably talk you through the different grinds available and the benefit of each. These look like a standard "S" grind (Ping type), I purchased a Ping wedge with an ES grind and love it.

Tour Edge makes good clubs, I swear by them, even these entry level TGS 431 Tour Grind wedges are pretty good for being on the inexpensive side... I have a set of the 304 Set, in my back-up set (well will be in my back-up set, once the EXI irons come on Saturday), and they're good... Anyone who tells you Tour Edge is a bottom of the barrel golf company, isn't informed, and probably hasn't read the March 2016 issue of Golf Digest, or they didn't realize Tour Edge makes the Exotics line.

Until a 7 or 8 years ago, I thought "Bazooka" was its own company... Until a friend of mine showed me Tour Edge was the company...

Tour Edge was actually started by David Glod in his apartment outside of Chicago in 1985... When he first started he was building it the garage, and finishing is his bedroom...

IN 2016 there were 4 Tour Edge clubs (technically 6) on the Golf Digest Hot List...

So in conclusion, Tour Edge is a great company that has great deals for golfers, Exotics are a little expensive, but Dave is proud to keep his prices down to make golf affordable for the average golfer with a quality product...

    • Love resurrecting this thread! The float-load feel bit and then the old video I think from Mike on how to hit low and high chips were the kickstart to my short game journey, where I play well below my handicap (officially 9.x right now, via arccos I only lose 1 stroke per round to a scratch golfer in my short game). I've spent lots of time with float-load and I can be a sniper inside ~40 yards with my GW and 60*. But I actually just started trying a version of this for like ~40-70 yard shots! 70-115 I have a like hands to belly button height stock partial swing shot that I hit with SW-9i dialed.
    • Played 9 today. Good and bad. Full Swing - Right arm straighter feel needs to be there 100%.  Short Game - Just needs a good couple of practice sessions to polish. Too long of backswing most of the time.  Putting - more straight back and straight through “feel” works well. Hitting center of putting face more.
    • My rule of thumb is a PW for everything from 100 yards in except specialty shots like a flop or a low runner.  I find it easier to eyeball it for distance and swing on feel for the distance I need to hit
    • Day 3: Worked on putting at different distances focusing on matching the backswing and follow-through lengths.
