The title is toungue-in-cheek, but the size of her new putter on tv did make me say 'Wow'.

I don't think just because it looks unusual it can't work well...or even better for some players. Visually its chunkiness reminds me a little of the putter Jack used in '86.

Does anyone have experience with the Cure putter? I like the adjustable lie idea at least. Does super high MOI help your putting?

At least it's not as bad the putter Matt Every was using a few years ago.

It hung in the air in much the same way that bricks don't.

I saw something very similar about 40 years ago. A guy showed up with 6" square, 1.5"  thick piece of granite on 48" shaft. I don't remember him putting well with it, but it was a conversation piece.

I own, and sometimes play an older model "Rail Gun" putter which is similar. I'd probably use it more if it wasn't for the idiot remarks about it.

    • Day 172: mirror work for a while during SNF. Working on cleaning up the early backswing stuff. Definitely seeing the improvements I’m looking for.
    • @jxdama: Same dumb schtick since joining. Yup. Also, it's a par-73.
    • Day 97 - 2025-01-05 Showed up to something that absolutely floored me, and then was busy right through to 9:00. So, I got 5:00 in at night, at home, before bed. My rib cage hurts from a cough (ha ha, but also, f***), and I think I have a mild ear infection in my right ear. Things are just f***ing great.
    • OMG Jerry Barber shot -20 back in 1960! Let's go back and time and bitch about how easy it is to play golf. My goodness, Calvin Pete shot a -21 in 1986! Wait a second, David Duval shot -26 back in 1999! Hold up, Ernie Els shot a -31 back in 2003!!!!  (all scores at The Sentry, it is a very easy golf course for PGA Tour players).  The concept that golf in the past is this protecting par or what not is just romanticized BS. Golfer's have been tearing apart golf courses for decades. Let's have a sense of perspective to base our opinions, ok?
    • I wont  comment further except to say maybe we  can get a  -40 winner soon on these tests  of golf  skill     Hideki Matsuyama runs away with The Sentry, breaks scoring record to open new PGA Tour season Hideki Matsuyama picked up his 11th PGA career win on Sunday afternoon in Hawaii.
