Went out and walked 9 holes today. The back 9 is still to swampy, so only the front 9 is being played. Rather than go to a driving range, I went straight for the course to work on my drive, approach shots, pitching, and chip shots as well as putting. It took me four holes to get on track with my driver. Seems as though I get better drives when I bend over at the waist just slightly. I take my driver shaft and hold it against my back from my neck to my waist to check and see if my back is straight but just so slightly bent over so that my driver shaft makes contact with my back from my neck down to my waist. I learned that trick from a pro who was teaching the proper way to set up for a drive and it works quite well. Secondly, I don't even think I bend at the knees during my set up. During today's round, I forgot to remind myself of these set up steps until the 4th hole. Once I remembered to use this set up my drive shots came off much better.

I did pretty well today with most aspects of my game except for the few fat shots I hit with my PW - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
