Axis1 has made the world's first perfectly-balanced putter

How important do you think it is to have a "zero balanced" putter? Seems gimmicky.

Probably zero importance if you can't aim it properly.

And how can you possibly aim properly when just looking at your putter makes you want to vomit. That is one ugly flagstick!

I don't think it matters at all.

They've been at the PGA Merchandise Show the past few years. I think at two of them they've had a "booth babe" dressed in a little sailor costume. So… yeah. :-P Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Everyone who wants to get into golf equipment and has more than a tiny budget (those guys make ball mark fixers or tees or something) makes a putter. There are so many weird putters out there… but at the end of the day, it's a flat piece of metal (or similar) on the end of a stick. It's not swung at high speeds and putting is never the sort of thing where you'll be able to make even 50% of your putts from 20 feet over any length of time, so… Find what fits you and stick with it.

Then work on your three keys to putting.

Seems like the resting gravity point would be dependent on where you hold it anyway. I definitely need to work on the three keys this year.

    • If you’ve been playing over sixty years that means you’re not as young as you used to be, welcome to the club. Most people I play with are 70+ and we all seem to have issues. Couple of the guys have had cancer, heart issues and strokes but still doing the best they can. But not what they used to. Some are where they probably should just play nine holes because at about fifteen they are starting to struggle quite a bit. My scores are creeping up each year, don’t like it but it’s better than sitting in the recliner. Good luck.
