Anyone from Eastern Massachusetts looking for winter golf when your course is closed come to my home course. Kelly Greens in Nahant open all through the winter and groups on the weekends. Par 30 with 4 par 4s and 6 par 3s. Two of 3 fours are driveable but hey its the winter and if your not going to Florida give this a try. We sweep the greens when its snowing. Just wear under armor because we are right on the shore and the wind whips over the seawall pretty bad.

Looking for courses open in southeast Massachusetts, from Hingham to the Cape. Anyone interested in getting a winter foursome together?

Does anyone know of a web site that lists courses in MA open during the winter?

Tom L.
Hingham, MA usa

Ballymeade is a great course check that one out in Falmouth, its open during the winter and is a great course to play no matter what time of year. Also try Widows Walk, and Maple Gate, not sure of the last two whether or not they wil be open. This is also a list of courses that will be open in the winter. http://www.golfingnewengland.com/nei...urses?OpenForm

i know for a fact that cranberry valley was open today, i would have gone, but i live in wellesley and thats a very long drive( at least 2 hours). Not sure about any others, have you played pine hills before? (plymouth)

Pine Hills is a ridiculous place but it definatley won't be open for the winter. One of the best courses in the state. If you are north shore mass try out Kelley Greens on the weekend. Great place to come if you dont mind losing or winning a little money either so bring your A game.

Little Harbor in Wareham is open all year.

While it's not a very long course (no par 5s and the back 9 is only par 3s), it is an easy walk and it's inexpensive during the winter. I played there in February and it was $7 for 9 holes.

Three lousy shots and one brilliant shot can still make par...

Am also interested in this. Look like the storm is going to miss us and I'd like to get in 9 on Friday

South Shore in Hingham is open, a few temporary greens but still a good spot. Crosswinds in Plymouth is open as well

Sounds like there's some mediocre 9 hole courses opening Saturday, sassamon trace in Natick and St Marks in Southborough. Will probably play them both by Tuesday if the rain isn't too bad
