Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately we don't. I live in a small po-dunk town outside of Nashville. Guess our connections arent very good.

If you still have time to plan your trip, The Links @ Riverside are less than 10 miles from downtown. The course over-looks the river, and it is actually quite nice.

Heck, tell me specifically when your trip is and I might be able to tag alone

We will be down March 7-9. We were planning on getting an early time on the 8th (Saturday) around 8:00 or 9:00 A.M. since we are going to a basketball game that evening.

That would be cool if you wanted to play!

Tell me if your dates/times change...

But as of right now, I will have an off-day set-up on March the 8th to come swing my tire-irons with you.

I'll have to practice before you get here, hehe.

Tell me if your dates/times change...

The dates are set in stone, already have the time off work and hotel accomodations were made for me. I'll PM you closer to time about tee times and give my cell # and such.

Quick question; Is The Links @ Riverside a 9 hole or 18 hole? The website I seen said 9 hole. I'm looking more to play an 18 hole course.

After playing Riverside yesterday, I wouldn't want to take anyone there during the winter anyways. I've never seen it look so bad

And since you want to play an 18-hole course, take a look at the Quail Ridge Golf Course...

We can set-up an afternoon tee-time for I believe $25.

Let me know what you think.

    • Day 242 4-19 correct hip/chest movement in backswing. Less hip turn more chest turn. Did a bit of wrist arch stuff as well.
    • Day 42 (19 Apr 26) - Spent a bit of time working on maxing torso rotation…hit a few pitches to help reinforce.
    • Thanks - that was a total surprise…

    • First round at Quail Ridge: 47 + 47 = 94 *Note: It was 25+ mph winds with gust in the 35+ mph. It was also around 58 degrees. I felt like I was out in Oregon. The greens were very firm.  Driver was decent. It didn't cause me an issues.  Irons were the biggest issue. Just low point control was lacking. Mostly on the chunky side. Also, my irons were routinely 20-30 yards shorter than normal. Even on holes with a cross wind, the ball was just dying. We played an extra 9 holes after the first 18, and the wind died down by then. I stepped into a 9 iron, and it came up 15 yards short. I have no clue what is going on. I should not be hitting 9 irons 140 yards when I am hitting my driver 300 to 310 yards.  Warmup didn't give me much confidence. I just kept shanking every other iron shot. I didn't shank an iron during the round. I just felt all out of sorts today. Coordinate felt off.  yea, I have no idea if I am purposely slowing down my swing to feel my downswing piece. Again, I hit a decent 9 iron and lost 15 yards of carry. I hope this is just an off day.
