Working with more bent right hand, it felt much more controlled actually, and I could use the arms less with less right forearm dominance.

Wow what a resource, i've got some work to do here, i suffer from all the symptoms you mention on an Accellerator poor distance control, i also miss a lot of short putts through this accelleration i think.

So the key is to deaccerallerate the putter before impact?

Do i need to add extension P3 to P4?

Wondering if it's why i'm not able to get the arms going upwards more and more width.

Been so long not posting on here and working on (what seems pointless) efforts with my game I forgot my password lol

Extension of what? Your back? Your knee(s)? Your arms? Wrists? What?

Then… no. No more needed:

I would start working on the setup (you're a bit close to the ball) and the wrist/elbow conditions at the top.

Got any video you recommend seeing? I need to work in right elbow in BS but I never seem to be able to get that ER and in a laid off position at the top (like @mvmac

Decided to address the ball with a clubface width away from the ball...then engage glutes/back/upper body to the ball so i'd hit it.

@deason, have you experimented with a bit more hip turn in the backswing?

I only watched the first 8I DTL video, but there's not a lot of hip turn there, and it leads to a bit more of an "arms" swing than you likely want…

Hi all,

Its been a while.

Worked on some stuff last year that got me to an ok placr but i suffer from being too flat. Ive worked on more steeper tilt in backswing and hand path to match.

Only issue im banging my head against the wall is my P3-4 i lost the arms in front and really suffer in transition.

Ive read about extensor action which may be what i need to feel. but when i try this i still get internal with left arm.

Drills drills drills i need them...just not sure what can help me.

I don't like how close you are to the ball at setup, and then you are narrow and across the line at the top. From there you attempt to shallow, but then you immediately swing hard left.

It's not a powerful motion, and it's likely not a very consistent motion.

I'd improve the setup, and work on the club not twisting across the line at the top. In the first image below I'm not even sure your right hand is still as "attached" as it should be.

A face-on view would help.

Hi,

Define narrow at the top, this is what i meant about what is it i need to feel to get better structure there?

My feeling is i've got to get better setup at the top to ensure I can shallow better.

From a face-on view, you'd see your right hands closer to your chest or right shoulder than you'd want. And you don't want to be across the line like that, as that sets up a poor downswing sequence.

You've got to get a better setup (address position) too. Get the club out from between your legs.

Your arms actually hang inward a little.
