@mvmac thanks for the help....

Do you think my arms are in a better position yet?

It can be better but I think it's more of a long term project. The priority now is the getting Key #2 properly (weight forward with the head staying steady).

In my left leg its flexed...where as Byrds is straight...i need to get to that but extended?

Byrd's leg is still flexed.

What I'm talking about is the green line, you need more axis tilt. Your head moves forward so you lack axis tilt, causes the arms to bend coming down, club overtakes the hands at a fast rate.

You need to "hang out" more in this position.

Just a few shots before some practice shots in the net before I played 18 today.

First is the drill byrd does.

I had three birdies today, iron striking felt pretty good. I also thought about taking a slower takeaway to not oversewing too fast and lose my centre.

Divots were massive though, can't complain as they show I'm getting the impact ok, we have had wet conditions so fairways are sodden.

One issue i had was a few shots were straight push left and then I had some a pull hook left which obviously had zero secondary.

Hopefully a step in the right direction.

Hopefully a step in the right direction.

I think so, nice work, keep doing that drill. Would just like to see more flex, little "softer", left knee with the drill at A7.

Cheers...that was about 5 reps and some reps in the front room last night.

My lats are really tender/ripped though, not sure if this is a net result of anything? I've started a bit of deadlifting in the week so could be that.

Work from today, downswing and move into flexion and extension needs so much more work as my heads still going forward and my hips spinning a bit....upping my workout now so I can get this spot on by the new season.

The left knee is better with the banking drill, there is more "thrust" and straighter arms into the followthrough.

With the full swing, left knee needs to transfer forward longer.

Also, you don't need to upload multiple swings, especially if you aren't going to edit the stuff in between shots ;-)

So in the full swing I need to be as per this image, but applying more ground force with the left foot/side?

In that image you're applying more pressure into the ground/foot. Yes make it look more like that.

Looking good. Any comments on that? Just posting it for your "log"?

1. Working on stabilising the lower body with ground forces to feel the kinematic sequence

2. Feeling that I don't use the arms from the top of my backswing

2. Gym work is now upto 4 times a week through the offseason, man this is paying off!

I seem to have issues with my right hand. I struggle to get it to settle on the putter. This video was trying to feel like I was really weakening it. Any advice? puttingfronton:

Your grip seems off. Your left thumb is on the side of the grip and your right wrist is slightly bowed.

Notice how all these guys have a bent right wrist. Yours is the opposite, going to add loft to the putter which will result in distance and start line problems.

@mvmac good observation, its hard to get video of top guys putting really other than the seconds you get on the tour coverage. That might explain why I struggle to get the right arm the same level to the left arm.

Full swing is getting better BTW, i'm working on stablisation of the left side at the moment to improve my secondary tilt.

Not got video at the moment as my Casio Exilim gave up the ghost (too many drops and usage after two years!)

Sorry about the post mess for the original post, i posted on the mobile website which dosn't give you the same functions.

    • Hi everyone, I'm looking to improve my driving distance. I’ve been playing golf for a few years now, and while my accuracy has gotten better, I’m still struggling to get the distance I want off the tee. I play regularly with both men and women, so any advice that applies to both would be fantastic. For some context, I’ve tried adjusting my stance and swing, but I feel like I might be missing some key golf techniques or drills. Has anyone here successfully increased their driving distance? What specific tips or changes worked for you? Whether it's about grip, posture, swing mechanics, or even mental approach, I’m open to all suggestions! Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice! Thanks!

    • I don't know… The TaylorMade Tiger Woods grinds were decent. I like narrow soles with a lot of bounce (lots of camber) and good heel/toe relief.
