I have started playing again this year after about 15 years off. I used to work grounds crew at a course, and I had a mismatched incomplete garage sale set of clubs that I played well with. Then I graduated college and got a job and decided I wanted a "matched set", so I bought some Spalding Cannons from a clearance table at Sports Authority. I don't remember how much I paid and I quit playing fairly soon after buying the clubs. I regripped them this year, and I can mostly hit them OK, but I have no idea if they are considered good/bad/bleah etc. Note that these are not the "Cannon Advance".

Anybody know anything about these clubs?

Difficult to determine good or bad vintage cast clubs as vintage forged clubs seem to be those that have more of a following in terms of collectability.

I don't think that they would stack up very favorable with more modern offerings, even from 10-15 years.  For example, Taylormade RAC OS would probably blow the doors off those Cannons for a pretty small investment.

I did find the following if it helps...

Thanks for that link, I was able to view the images. Wow, 1987! I am pretty sure I bought them in 1995 or 1996, I wonder if they were used or something. Well, might be time to start looking for something else...
