Best Double Bogey Ever!

In a golf match this year on my high school's JV team my freind made a double bodey on the last hole of the match. MY friend tyler murphy came into the last hole at Mt. Hood in Medford Ma. It was a 160 par 3 with OB over and to the right. His first one OB over, second OB right, third one drained for a 5. Best dub ever!

Well, he finished like a man. If I recall correctly, back in the days of Francis Ouimet, your friend would have scored a 3; as I recall, Mr. Ouimet hit one out of bounds during the famous 1913 US Open Playoff, but was only penalized 1 shot (just distance, not stroke).

Did your friend's miraculous 5 have any bearing on the outcome of the match?

Nah we wasnt playin good that day and he lost that hole by one stroke but lost overally by 7 strokes. In the our conference we play stroke play.

Wow that is amazing, man I'm still waiting on my first hole in one. I am also waiting for the school district to have high school golf, but that will never happen

One thing I have noticed about hole in ones is that if you step up to the tee and say this could be it then its not going in the hole. But instead step up and say this ball is gonna start 5 yards left of the hole and i'll have a nice easy put for birdie...there is a better chance of it going in that way than if you are only thinking of an ace.
