Hogan BH Grind apex irons???

I'm looking for any info or input on  the Hogan Apex BH Grind irons. If I'm not mistaken, these are forged irons correct? Found a deal on them and thinking of jumping on it just to have them and play around with them.

Lots of threads on Hogan irons. I have owned a few sets. I currently play with Hogan Edge with Legend Graphite Shafts, the exception is my PW (E) is an Apex Plus.  I beleive that all Hogan irons are forged, but I could be mistaken. The Grinds are MB blades, while many of the more recent as Edge are forged cavity backs with perimeter weighting. The Grinds are more than likely more difficult to hit than the cavity backs. In any event, a search on Hogan should give you lots of info.s

Yes, the BH Grind is a forged muscle back iron. The only two iron heads that Hogan made in a cast MOLD were the Producer in the mid 70's and the Magnum cavity back. The EDGE was a perimeter weighed forged head and was very popular.

yup, I've owned two sets of Edges. One with Graphite Legend Shafts, the other with APEX 4 steel Shafts. I also have an Apex Plus E wedge. I found some of his woods on ebay, and have Driver, 4W, 5W, 7W with white "spider" grips. I wish they were persimmon, but they are laminates. I like the Speed Slots.
