Well this sucks.. I like the WiiU and I just don't get this strategy.. I've just lost faith in Nintendo.

What strategy? Replacing the Wii U with the Wii Switch?

Yes.. that one.. so, they didn't have enough 3rd party support to come out with blockbuster hit games.. what make them think the switch will be any different?  (They say they have buy in from 3rd parties for the switch), but reality is that's the critics and financial analysts are concerned about this point as well.

I end up with a console that I put significantly amount of money into, games, equipment ect and now I can forget about any new games for it.

I will wait and see though, but I'm not sure I'll make the switch!  :)

That happens to every console.

The Wii U came out four years ago. The Xbox came out in 2001, and the Xbox 360 in 2005.
