I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years
My current handicap index or average score is: 14
My typical ball flight is: slight fade to slice
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: SLICE

Hi Guys. Would love some input. I am still getting a slice on 1 of every 3 swings. Other two are a fade. It doesn't look like I'm coming over the top.  Club face looks square right? So frustrating. Thank you for any input.

Welcome to the site @Asizzle10

I'm not very good so take my input for what it's worth. (I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will offer a credible opinion soon).

The ball starts straight so the face is likely square - even though it looks a slightly closed to me. If you're getting a fade or slice flight, that leaves the path of the club coming across the ball - outside in - as the culprit. I agree you're not coming over the top. It looks like you're getting your weight forward even though your front foot spins out a bit after impact. I can't tell if you're getting your left arm and shaft to align at impact.

To my untrained eye, you look to be doing a lot of things correctly. Steady head, weight forward... The experts can comment on your swing plane and posture at address. You may be asked for a caddie view video.

Below a link to the ball flight laws if you're unfamiliar. Wish I could give you better advice. Good luck.

Watch your camera angles. Looks to me like the camera is placed too far to the right which can make it difficult to ascertain swing path direction. It doesn't look outside-in, but it's very difficult to tell from where your camera is placed.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Hey, not a bad swing. Try to record some face on video when you get a chance.

To me it does look like you're coming from the outside a little. I notice your trail elbow gets a little behind you, and it made me think of this lesson: Controlling the Trail Elbow.

    • They need to do something to speed  up play. They could randomly  time  players. One  idea would  be  if a group gets  out  of  position they are disqualified. If its a group of  3 and  its  1 player playing like  molasses i can imagine an exciting interaction, lol
    • I agree with @dennyjones, a suspension of some meaningful duration would be better than getting bounced from the Tour. They might consider experimenting each week. It might generate a bit of interest. I like the idea of a visible shot clock. If a player and their caddy can’t decide on a strategy and pull the trigger in XX seconds (30? 45? 60?), one stroke penalty. Give each player 2 resets a round. The clock starts when the last player to hit’s ball stops moving. Other pace ideas could be used every couple events until a consensus is reached to adopt or ditch an idea.
