As a kind of follow up to this thread , do you have a separate playlist for playing/practicing? If you do, or if you don't have a set playlist but still listen to music, what kinds of music do you listen to while playing/practicing?

I put this on random on my iPod. I use then when on the range, putting in my room, and on the course when not swinging.

My sister in law is a music nut, so I have approximately 15,000 songs. I am slowly weeding through them (Who needs 50 versions of the same Pearl Jam song?!?!).

Recently downloaded a guy named Brandon Pigg (sp) off of iTunes thats really mellow and I listen to him when putting.

I do, it helps me focus a lot, but I only listen to it on the range. I especially listen to it on the range before tournaments, and also listen to it on the walk to the first tee to keep me calm.

Great list, but how do these get you mellow. I would listen to these before a basketball game and it would have me amped up. Bodies is a great one to get me pumped up.

Its a little watered down some times, but I love Coldplay at the range. Great for tempo. Also Jack Johnson.

Well I'm 15 and this is the music that I always listen to, it's what I like so I guess since I like it, it calms me down.

I love to listen to Jack Johnson when the winter is really kicking my A$$. It just makes it warmer.

I listen to a lot of really heavy stuff and I don't find that it amps me up or calms me, but it serves more to focus me.

I've never tried listening to music, but I have listened to a football game while playing.
