I used to like the guy. I used to think he had promise.

He missed the cut at the Open and, aside from a brief moment in the limelight , has done next to nothing this year. I picked him - frequently - in the ESPN league but I haven't this third segment.

Grrrr. I hope he gets back on track, but I've given up on 'im.

Well, CH3 is my favorite golfer, so it has been tough watching him struggle since the brief early success in January. He has fallen 20-30 spots in the world rankings in the past couple months.

I really thought 2005 would be his breakout year because he worked so hard on his short game before the season started. The awesome talent is there, it's just mental I guess. It seems like he has missed about every cut here lately.

I won't give up on him yet, but I'm getting a lot closer. The Oklahoma State pride is keeping me hanging on.

He just seems goofy and too skinny. I remember back in 2002 when he won the Michelob Championship, he was asked to take a sip of beer. He grimaced afterwards and said he had never had beer. Now you may say "what's wrong with that?" Nothing, but c'mon, be a man and atleast act like you like it for the sponsor.

Don't give up yet boys!!

CH3 is tied for 2nd right now at the halfway point at The International. He has been known to choke the last two rounds though, but I think he is going to finish strong this weekend. There are a lot of big names near the top of the leaderboard too, so maybe he will break out and win this thing.

That would be huge for his confidence, and I think he could keep riding a hot streak.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! :)

    • Day 214: did a stack session.
    • Day 11: 2/18/25 Weight shift drills followed by slow motion swings.
    • Patrick Cantlay standing over the ball at the 2018 PGA Championship haha. Dunno what the story behind this is. But at the 2012 Players, Kevin Na was going through some rough swing thought stuff. This article I linked below says he was fixing early extension at the time while also trying to get used to feeling less weight in heels at address, and tho he hit it better than with his old swing, he had a really tough time with it, even in practice rounds. https://vault.si.com/vault/2016/01/18/kevin-na-fit-be-tied-just-ask-him   Anyway, just a couple high level examples of this.
    • Yes, but they break every 5-7 years. So… Meh. I'm looking at alternatives. I also don't like how they call it a lifetime warranty… but give you $25 off a product (I was looking to get the Munich if I stuck with MoneyClamps).
    • Day 141 - 2025-02-18 Did work at home. I have a few long days at Golf Evolution so I didn't want to spend a LOT of time there today. 😄
