Masters cell phone

Good afternoon. Can someone confirm that if you have your cell phone (or any other prohibited item), you can leave it in a locker outside the gates and then get it once you leave?  I went to the Masters a few years ago and swear that's what I did, just can't remember for sure. Thanks!

I know two years ago there were lockers I saw people using. I had never been there but I assume that is what you are talking about.

They have a bag check for people that buy stuff at the pavilion but that is inside the gates.  If you have your phone at the gate and they find it you may have to go back to your car.  I don't think that there are any lockers outside of the gate.  I only remember the ones inside for purchased merchandise.

And FYI, it's much better to buy it when you first get there in the morning and check the bag.  Rather than fighting the massive crowds on the way out.  Just FYI.

I won't have my car as I will uber to golf course. I'm staying at a hotel a couple miles away.
