It does to me. There was another thread on here recently that talked about this, and if I can find it I'll remind everyone. It had something to do with "laying the club down" in the transition from backswing to downswing. Someone mentioned Sergio Garcia and how he seemed to be increasing his lag when, in fact, what he was doing was this laying the club down.

If you do this lay the club down move without keeping your body moving, you will snap hook it off the planet! And we've all seen guys who get their bodies way out in front and put it in the woods to the right!

It's not a bad drill. This is the "palmar flexion" of the left wrist, or "turning 12 o'clock on the grip to 9 o'clock" stuff we talk about.

As you can see there, it really exaggerates the shaft lean part.

I don't agree that it's the "body" that squares it back up. It's just rotating the forearms/wrists back to square.
