I just got a new set of irons and a new 3 wood, now i would like to get a couple hybrids to fill in the gaps but im clueless on what lofts i need. the 3 wood is a 15 degree and the 4 wood is a 23. Also im not opposed to not putting the 4 iron in my bag and just get 3 hybrids because i dont hit the 4 very well, the 5 iron is 26 degrees. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

In the bag:
driver: Sumo2 9.5
3/5 wood: 15/17
hybrids: 3/4 rhythm
irons: cci 4-pw, swputter: newport 2 detourballs: nxt

most 4 woods are 16.5*, but any way, try a 17-19 with 4 iron or 20-24 with out.

I'm pretty sure you meant 4-iron and not 4-Wood... I'm assuming your 4-

Iron is 23 degrees. The short answer is, do you prefer woods or hybrids? You might want to consider a 20-21 degree hybrid to "replace" your 3-iron. If you like it, then you can consider a 23-degree to actually replace a 4-iron. And if you dislike it, you can get a 5-wood (18-19 degrees) instead of a 2-hybrid, assuming you like fairway woods.
