I belong to a somewhat private club. It's not open to the public, but a corporation owns it, Clublink, and you can play other courses that they own for free. I really like it because it provides variety and reasons for roadies to play some golf.

Right now for the club I belong to it's $8,900 for initiation (Paid over 10 years, intertest free if you are under 30) and the yearly dues are about $1,735. Can't really complain, but I am late 20's so life is going to be changing pretty soon, starting a family and all, so I will have to see how long I last.

Our Family belongs to a private club in Carmel, IN. It is called Crooked Stick, John Daly actually won his only PGA championship there! I saw it!! :) I dont know quite what the dues are but, i do know that the initiation fee is probably 80K. It blows my mind, but the club house is very nice, and the course itself is probably the best in Indiana....

That's cool. Have you ever had the chance to play?

That sounds like a great plan. I like that your place has affiliate clubs. I work for a club from a similar corporation deal.
