Hi Kirma,

I've got you and a recent tiger swing here at address and top of the backswing.  I would recommend trying to make sure your weight and body don't move towards the golf ball during the backswing.  You want to feel like weight moves from the balls of your feet at address back into the inside part of your right heel by the time you reach the top.

Work on that for a while and post another swing if you like.  Best of luck!

Jared

Thanks Jared, I’ll try to keep in my posture on the backwing. Appears more noticeable on my backside. Thanks for pointing it out. See how it goes. Very much appreciated.

Is there anyone else who can offer advice for this humping goat?

Happy to help, but how about some videos from good angles? And high-speed video, if you're capable (most modern smart phones are).

My first thought after a quick look is that I would try to get a longer backswing to get more power.

Thanks Henrik, I feel power is ok. I try to get full shoulder turn. Cheers

Ok, Iacas. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks

    • I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
    • Day 150 1-10 focus on arching the wrist and getting the ball to go left. Recorded, hit foam balls.
    • Day 467 - 2026-01-10 Practiced at Pinehurst every day I was there, and before Junior Elite this morning I got fifteen minutes of backswing checks in the mirror in.
