Daughter at A5!

So this is pretty much just a brag post   From labor to memorial day, we get half day Fridays at my work.  I play in a Wednesday night league during the summers, and this past summer my daughter got "jealous" of my time away from the family at the course.  So I naturally took advantage!  On Fridays I'd pick her up early, get a coffee shop snack, then take her to the local driving range that has kids clubs available to borrow.

Just trying to keep it fun for her.  Only "instruction" is that she has to stand behind the club I laid down (she naturally wants to stand way too close) and that she grips right hand low.  The loaner clubs are too heavy for her, hence the Ty Cobb grip.  But damn, look at her just before A5!  I wish my stills at that point in the swing looked that good!  I'm well aware that her interest may wain.  But damn I hope she gets excited about the game.  Natural swing!

Keep it fun and maybe add in "keep your hands together" (but little to nothing else).

Yeah, I'll push on the hands together thing when she's stronger or I get her some ultralight kids clubs.  She'll start that way when I demo, but then will often transition to the split grip after she smashes the club into the ground behind the ball a few times.
