If you can find a used 2 Ball that's in good shape (or heck....the old two ball without an insert has been discontinued, if I'm not mistaken, so you can probably get it for around $100 at a place like Sports Authority), that's the direction i would go.

I've had a center-shaft 2 ball for about 5 years now, and every year the new model putters come out, I spend about a week hitting all of the golf shops and seeing if there is a model I prfer. To date, nothing I've demoe has come close to the overall feel and positive results the two-ball gives me.

Just my two cents, of course.

What are you comparing about the putters? Insert? Style? Center shafted or not? The insert in the g2i is firmer than the Odyssey's. But the alignment system in the Odyssey is superb. What kind of stroke do you have? The 2Ball supports the square->square method while a ping blade style supports a more arched stroke

    • There are some little things here and there — the shoulder turn is a bit flat, and the arms move around you a bit too much too. Take a look at this video:
    • I've developed a serious case of the shanks and difficult to control push fades/slices with my irons lately. I used to draw my irons pretty consistently. I currently most draw driver. Also, I don't like how my elbow sometimes pops out from down the line, especially with driver and/or if I'm trying to hit it harder. I can control the elbow a lot better with irons, but quite difficult to have good contact and speed while controling it on driver.
    • I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years My current handicap index or average score is: 30 My typical ball flight is: push fade with iron The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push fade/slice and shank with irons Videos:
    • Day 1 (17 Jun 26) - Starting the post over - even though I have not missed any days as I’m working as a volunteer instructor at the Jr Golf Camp primarily in short game area (putting/pitching/sand) - Monday - putting stroke and distance control; Tuesday - chipping from off the green with less than wedge (7-9 irons); Today - getting out of bunkers (focusing on splashing the sand underneath the ball) - been a full three days.
