Longest irons you've played?

I need an iron with stronger lofts than traditional, because i tend to baloon a 48 degree PW, rather than a 46.

Its such a talked about subject with drivers and technology pushing distance to the limit.

What are the longest irons you've played, considering technology over loft.. meaning no R7xd 44 degree PW.

definitely the 695CB...longest irons I've hit by far, but it DOES have something to do with the lofts. Not sure what other variables account for length other than shaft.

The 695CBs felt great to me, but at the time I had them (2 years ago) I don't think I was ready for them. I hit the ball low to begin with, so they weren't the best club for me, but when I did make solid contact, I got great length out of them. If you are a solid ball striker and are comfortable with the low trajectory, these are great clubs. When I started getting better, I was able to work them great while still having a little forgiveness. However, for a cavity back, they are as much a player's club as you can get, and they don't bail you out at all.

If you are thinking about getting them, I would hurry, as there doesn't seem to be a comparable set on the horizon. The new ZB clubs are a mixed set, and that might not be for everyone.
