Didn't get achance to reply but it seems most of you have misread my OP. I said it could no head covers to add/remove in a 4 ball "save up to 1 min" per tee box. That's 15 sec per player. Please don't anyone tell me you can remove and replace a head cover in less than 10 seconds. The face and sole of your club gets abused everytime you swing the club. It's not so much the time wasted that annoys me as if your going to play a round then it needs to be taken at a relaxed ( Not slow ) pace but as I work in an industry ( aerospace ) to be exact, I have yet to see matals such as titanium suffer any metal fatigue from being banged together under the forces experienced in a golf bag. I have my Hibore XL with almost 2 yrs now and have never had the cover on it during a round and the black upper face is as pristine as the day I bought it. Mind you my clubs get treated like one of the family when I'm not on the course, being kept inside, as I'm aware of the effects moisture/temp changes can have on clubs and grips left out in a damp garage. As for the guy with all the iron covers a few posts back .... LOL, don't get me started

you speak of others not reading the OP... well you didn't read too well either. Many of us mentioned the shaft protection aspect of headcovers. Also, I can replace my headcover while I am walking or waiting for the next guy in the group to hit... NO time wasted. Either way I have to walk back to my cart or bag. Cleary you are an idiot and just want to complain about something stupid.

Honestly your argument is a little ridiculous. I really can't imagine that there would be that much time saved by not allowing headcovers to be used. If you are going to go as far as saying headcovers are not allowed you might as well ban teeing up the ball, practice swings, cleaning the ball on the green and removing the pin while you are at it.

    • Day 37: did my drill swings in the garage with foam balls for about 15 minutes. Working on getting my backswing more turned and then going from there.
    • Thanks but honestly… I don't know any other way. I don't mind being wrong so long as I know where to go from there. I don't like being wrong — I'd love to get things right (which is different than "being right"). I recommend grabbing a furniture slider or a paper plate or something, and doing something like this: First, make a swing where you let your trail foot swing out as you turn, then twist that foot back in. From DL and FO, it'll look like this: Then, during a regular backswing, try to twist your foot in slightly (demonstrated in the left image): You'll notice a crease along the trail side of your hip, your pelvis will "fold" into that thigh (internal rotation of the hip joint), and your "bits" will be squished a little between your pelvis and your thigh. Ben Hogan said once: "At the top of the back swing the groin muscle on the inside of your rt [sic] leg near your right nut will tighten," Hogan wrote. "This subtle feeling of tightness there tells you that you have made the correct move back from the ball." I don't know about that, but you will probably feel something down around that area.
    • Yep. I think it will start to feel even more athletic when we start on the downswing stuff later.  I know, it's just I want to be younger so I have more time to enjoy the changes. 🙂
    • I need to drop a couple of stone. 🙂 😛    Yep. Yeah, but in the end, it feels more athletic, like you're actually using your legs, yeah? As you know… we use the best available info we have. Like others, I was fooled a little by 2D images for awhile (moving or still). Unlike others, I've learned and grown and moved on since then, while they're still looking at their images (often from lousy camera angles).
