Earlier today some of us were discussing swing speed as being measured by club head speed. 

The question was asked that with all "full" swings, does the golfer's hands travel the same speed with all clubs? That the length of of the club, and lag determines club head speed. 

Myself, although I have never checked, I tend to believe my hands' speed is pretty much the same with my longer clubs, and a little slower with my shorter clubs. 

What's the answer?

No. The hands move slower with shorter clubs, too. Among the reasons… they're heavier. You tend to turn a bit less and take them back a bit shorter. And others…
