yes my sentiments exactly - hope McGrane can cope.

He's a good wind player (as all Irish are) as he showed today - Woods outdrove Monty's driver with his 5 wood a couple of times today, but McGrane is used to being outdriven too. He's a battler - come on the Irish!

Final Group is out at 13:00 Dubai time - 10:00am GMT.

I'd watch out for master westwood if i was Tiger

haha good old Damien - great performance.

Will be a great showdown - Garcia, Westwood and Tiger can all turn on the heat - Stenson and Els are great frontrunners. Can't wait till tomorrow!

haha good old Damien - great performance.

It really turned out to be a great leaderboard... tomorrow should be entertaining. Never expected Tiger to play so poorly today, but that's golf. I would love to see Tiger make a charge and end up in a playoff with Ernie, and have Ernie take him down. A three way playoff would be good too... throw in Sergio or Stenson, maybe Westwood... it will be good stuff.

Might have to watch this now that the ending is not so predictable (like the Buick Open). I was pleasantly shocked to see Ernie with a 4 stroke advantage over Tiger. That is a nice headstart going into the final round. We will be seeing Tiger trying to make something happen tomorrow which is more exciting than watching him coast a lead in.

els splashes with his 2nd to 18, needs a birdie to tie. disappointment again for Els :(

Yeah, I wonder how that "three-year plan" is going for Ernie. Isn't this year three? Errr, no, year two? He almost seems to be going backwards.

I recorded it on TGC and will watch later.

It's Tiger Woods and nobody else. It makes me sick, but golf has be come unwatchable. You try to rally behind these losers to knock off the champ and they choke. This is unbelivable!

I'd rather worry about my own game then watch these guys choke.

In my opinion Ernie and Phil are on the downside of their careers. Tiger has just started to take off. It's so boring watch this materialize. Nothing against Tiger he is great the best ever in my opinion, just a shame nobody can win against him.

What a joke.

He is just such a clutch player that it is rediculous, his life is golf and golf only when he is doing his job, no one can bother him

Yup, I'm just about done rooting for Els. He no longer delivers and I'm left with nothing but disappointment when I think of him.

He used to make a real hard game look easy oftentimes. Now he makes it look almost as hard as it really is.

Tiger's got Ernie's number. I think Ernie is awesome, but Tiger just owns him again and again. And what happened to Stenson, "the special one"?

There were low scores to be had, with such marque names like Martin Kaymer and Ricardo Gonzalez shooting 7 under for the round.

And, if Tiger starts winning from behind, the collective PGA Tour has no hope of winning a tournament.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
