Out of curiosity, why does it matter where they were built?

I'd assume they were built wherever Maxfli makes the rest of their clubs.

klineka, the reason is maxfli havn't built any clubs for along time , I've had these for 6 years and apart from taylormade buying them out in 2002-3 I cant find any information on them , but  thank you for a total waste of a reply mate .....

An attitude like that wont get you much help here.

You asked a very specific question, and I was just curious if there was a specific reason why it mattered where they were made.

Typically people ask when a certain club was made, but rarely people ask where a club was made.

I'm probably the most easy going bloke there is , but the way you worded your reply felt like attitude to me , so I answered with an attitude, I'm more than willing to talk decent to anyone .

I've looked online and theres loads of great reviews of the clubs , but nothing has been said where they were made, they seem really well made and a quality product,  and it would of been nice if anyone knew where they were made , all my clubs have always been ping , but I just fell in love with the look and the feel of these clubs when I saw them , just wondered if maxfli was a American company and they were made in America or subbed out to China....

hope that ended our conversation on a clearer note ....

Can't find anything conclusive, but ...

At the time the A10s were being made, wasn't the Maxfli name owned by Dunlop?

And if that's the case, it would strongly suggest Japan unless they were farming out production to some entirely different company.

thank you mcanadiens for your reply , my friend said exactly the same thing about an hour ago , he thought they were made in Japan under dunlop when maxfli made quality equipment and golf balls , I was just curious because the build quality is so good and they got great reviews back in the day , and because they our a combo set which helps my game , thank you so much for replying to the thread .... jules

    • I think of the low point as generally under the lead shoulder or armpit. Something close to that. That can vary, though, depending on some other things a golfer does, but it's a general starting point. I will say I'm not a big fan of the AI type text to speech voices. I think we still connect as humans with another clearly human voice with better inflection, tone, and even small imperfections. This feels like a corporate training video (not that I've done one of those in decades) or those formulaic-for-clicks Shorts on YouTube.

    • I understand, to some extent, when this rule comes into play during the monsoon.  In our home course, balls plug in both the fairway and rough.  They are slowly trying to raise the fairways, improve underground drainage and shape the fairways in such a way that water flows off it.  And I also understand the pain of losing a ball just one foot off the fairway in the rough.  But the rules are clear about a lost ball.  Obeying the rules is what makes golf a great game and levels the playing field for everybody
