Hi I already have a 60 degree lob wedge and my pitching wedge has a 44 degree loft. I was wondering if it would work if I got a 50 degree gap wedge and a 56 degree sand wedge.

Depends upon how you use them. If you think of full shots only, then just figure the distance gaps between the PW and 60. If you do a lot of partial wedge shots and only use the 60 around the green, then you can space them more off the PW distance, example: 52, 56 or 50, 54. Also, you need to determine what is going to be your primary sand wedge too.

My 44* degree club is my 9i. My four wedges are 48-52-56-60. With my game, I could get rid of the 52, and 60 and not really miss them. I would just open the the 48, and the 56 club faces to get similat shots to my 52, and 60.

With already having a 44, and 60 clubs, adding one, or two more wedges would work fine, as long as the golfer has the swing, and the need for the extra club(s). I'd for sure add the sand wedge at the very least. Then add the second (50*) wedge later on.
