Anyone else catch this show on the Golf Channel? I enjoyed it alot, I wish they would do more player profiles like this one...for example a fan and his favorite player spending the day together, at the range getting a few pointers, at the players home course etc. etc.

The Lopez/Trevino special to me was one of the best pieces of programming on TGC that I've seen in quite some time.

The best part, for me, was when Trevino gave Lopez a wedge. Imagine one of your heroes, someone that you idolize for many different reasons, giving you something you did not expect and will actually use.

How cool is it to nail a shot and have one of your friends say "That was pretty sweet. What did you use?" and you answer "This was a wedge that Lee Trevino gave me. See that, it says "Mex."

I agree. Lee Trevino is a true gem of the sport. I could listen to his stories forever. He can be in the presence of room full of strangers and in 10 minutes they would be like old friends. It is to bad that we really don't have any modern players like him.

I agree this show was head and shoulders above the normal stuff... why TGC doesn't do more shows like this, and why they instead replay the same couple shows over and over is a mystery to me.
