My course posts it on the monthly calendar in the clubhouse (where they list schedule of scrambles, club tournaments, etc.). -
Done this once. Heat stress. Was thinking of a couple of shot options, decided which one. Hit the shot. Whaaaa? Looked at the club, and it was the one I had decided against. Almost happened again this summer, but caught myself as I was pulling the (wrong) club out of the bag.

When I saw a picture of Phil a week ago, the thought that initially went through my mind was that “he used to play golf.” Or some of us will stop watching it altogether, except for the majors.

Things That Make Watching Golf on TV More or Less Enjoyable

Less enjoyable: During some tournaments, there’s some aircraft loitering over/near the course, with its constant noise. (Not talking about the blimp—that sound comes and goes—this is fixed wing.) Doesn’t seem to be local airport traffic—that would just transit and be gone until the next aircraft. Flight school? IDK. Whatever the reason for the flight, I would think the production crew could filter out the noise, particularly since it’s fairly constant. Some have been so bad I just stop watching and delete it from the DVR. Positive: graphics (ball position and outcome from previous players on the whole), shot tracker. -
Just catching up from the last few days… I thought the DP World (formerly European) Tour had said LIV players could play in this week’s BMW International Open in Germany. But now they can’t play in three upcoming DP events. Change of mind or just a clarification from DP? Or because these three are co-sanctioned with the PGA Tour (but BMW isn’t)? I’m assuming that the Open Championship is “open” to them because it’s the R&A and not DP World Tour. (But the Scottish Open isn’t open.)
